There’s absolutely NOTHING I hate more than trying to fall asleep in a hot, sweaty, humid room in the middle of the summer.
I’ve got a feeling I’m not alone.
At the same time, the idea of installing window air conditioner all over my house and spending a small fortune on electricity during the summer – not to mention having to deal with all that noise pretty much around-the-clock – didn’t really appeal to me either.
Luckily, though, a friend recommended the Arctic Air Pure Chill personal air cooler to me last summer and nothing’s been the same ever since!
Now I’m able to get a fantastic night of sleep without having to worry about boiling, and I don’t have to worry about a super loud air conditioner system keeping me up, either.
On top of that, I’m able to save a mountain of money with this air cooler compared to traditional air conditioner unit systems – all while beating the summertime heat.
It doesn’t get a whole lot better than this, does it?
If you’re interested in keeping your home cool without having to spend a fortune on air conditioning yourself, but don’t want to deal with inefficient and ineffective solutions like traditional evaporative coolers, you’ve come to the right place.
Check out the rest of my detailed Arctic Air Pure Chill review below to find out if this slick little piece of hydro chill technology will work for you.
What is the Arctic Air Pure Chill?
Right out of the gate, it’s important to clear up exactly what the Arctic Air Pure Chill is as well as what it isn’t.
For starters, this cooling unit can be described best as a compact personal air cooler, not a traditional air cooler system like AC units, central air, and the like but instead closer to your own “climate control” unit.
A highly efficient and significantly updated evaporative hydro chill technology system, this nifty little piece of hardware pulls warm air through its cooling components, into the evaporate if water filter, and almost immediately drops temperatures – even in the hottest of spaces.
This is all done without having to worry about a super loud compressor system running in the background, expensive AC units drawing all kinds of power around-the-clock, or taking advantage of potentially toxic chemicals to cool things down (chemicals that are anything but healthy for you or the environment).
On top of all of that, you’ll be able to beat the summer heat wherever you need with the help of a digital thermostat, a system that can run for up to 10 hours per fill of the water tank, and won’t have to worry about trying to find a spot for this lightweight and portable personal space cooler to set up, either.
It plugs into any standard outlet (or even a USB port) and takes up next to no space whatsoever, quite similar to Williston Force AC.
This is personal cooling power at its very best, hardware you’ll fall in love with almost instantly.
I know I did!
Is the Arctic Air Pure Chill Legit?
You bet it is!
I know, I know. The odds are pretty good that you’ve heard promises like this before from specialty “air cooler” systems that ended up being duds.
I was in the same boat.
I absolutely HATE the heat and humidity the summertime brings around, but I hate just as much (okay, maybe not just as much – but pretty close) the way that air conditioners make the air feel, make the air smell, and how expensive they are to run.
I’ve tried just about everything to keep cool air without air conditioning, too.
We are talking about using a bunch of fans to try refreshing air, cool and humidify stuff down (works until you get out of the path of the breeze they create, and then you’re slammed by the heat), closing all the windows and blinds during the day and then opening everything up at night (sounds good, but isn’t all that effective), and even blowing a bucket of ice across my body with a personal fan set up.
That one was the least fun as I woke up completely soaking wet when my cat accidentally kicked over the ice bucket!
As I mentioned a moment ago, a friend of mine clued me in on this funky little air cooler that they were using to beat the summertime heat.
They told me that the Arctic Air Pure Chill would be able to help me cool and humidify, better control temperatures in the bedroom (and everywhere else in the house) while having a quiet operation, it creates your own little bubble of climate control without costing a fortune in energy, and that it is nearly silent to run even in the dead of night. Besides, it has a very useful night light that can help you guide if you wake up in the middle of the night!
I was skeptical, sure, but boy am I glad that I decided to pull the trigger and try the Arctic Air Pure Chill for myself
I discovered pretty quickly (and you will too) that this cooling unit is very much legit, very much the real deal, and perhaps the best personal space air cooler money can buy.
How Does the Arctic Air Pure Chill Work?
Sure it does!
The backbone of this cool air system is modern (and far more efficient) evaporate if cooling hydro chill technology that is light years beyond what used to be available even just a handful of years ago.
If you used in evaporative cooler in the past to try and temper hot spaces effectively the odds are pretty good that you only pushed a lot more moisture into those hot spaces, creating something that wasn’t just incredibly warm but also now incredibly humid.
What a solution, right?
I had that happen to me myself in the early 1990s and swore off of evaporative technology almost completely right then and there.
There’s nothing worse than feeling like you went to sleep in an oven and woke up in a pot of stew!
Luckily, though, like pretty much everything else in our modern world evaporative cooling technology improved significantly. Today, the cooling unit inside of this nifty little piece of hardware is far more efficient, far more effective, and isn’t going to release humidity into your space while keeping the temperature controlled.
Hot air is going to be sucked right through the front of the Arctic Air Pure Chill, moved through the evaporative cooling system connected to the internal water tank, and the end result is ice cold refreshing air pushed out the backend and into your space.
Does the Arctic Air Pure Chill Really Work?
The promises on the box for the Arctic Air Pure Chill personal air cooler were pretty big and pretty bold, practically guaranteeing that this little air cooling system was going to be able to offer the same kind of performance traditional AC units deliver without the expense and the noise.
Usually anytime I see promises like that I jump right over the product completely, figuring there some kind of scam, some kind of hitch, or some kind of catch attached.
With the Arctic Air Pure Chill personal air cooler, though, that just wasn’t the case.
No, it turned out that the Arctic Air Pure Chill personal air cooler was actually capable of delivering on the promises that it made to keep my spaces cool without me having to spend a lot of money on electric bills.
Sure, the water tank has to be filled every 10 hours or so (so top fill twice a day) if it is particularly hot out. But other than that there’s not a real lot that goes on behind the scenes with this personal air cooler when it comes to running or maintaining this piece of hardware.
The superefficient evaporate if cooling technology and its multi directional air vent really pulls warm air through the front of the system, moving it through the evaporate if cooling water tank and water curtain, and then pushes that colder air out into your space.
The end result is a really silent quiet operation but highly effective solution that makes for the best personal air cooler with multi directional air vent I’ve ever used, and one that I have absolutely no problem recommending to all my friends, to all of my family members, and even to complete and total strangers on the internet.
There’s a reason why you’ll find so many glowingly positive Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews online today just like this one. It’s because this platform really does work, you can take it wherever you need and it sucks all the hot air out of your place!
Can the Arctic Air Pure Chill Cool a Room?
You bet it can!
When I first got my hands on this personal air cooler unit I immediately opened it up, filled up the evaporate of water system, and put it to work in my bedroom.
I have a decent sized bedroom (it’s just over 12’ x 14’, give or take) and this little bad boy had the temperature dropping dramatically in about 15 minutes of me firing it up.
In an hour the room was significantly cooler (noticeably, that’s for sure) and I had absolutely zero trouble whatsoever falling asleep that night. Also, I found the built-in night light very handy for those times you need to go to the bathroom at night.
I made sure to top fill the water system before I went to bed – the platform recommends refills every 10 hours or so – and woke up to their still being just a bit of extra water in the tank and the temperatures still holding nice and cool.
Later that day we decided to move this air cooler out into the living room just to see if it could help us beat the heat in a larger space, too.
It took a little bit longer to cool things down for sure, but that’s to be expected with a personal space cooler like this one.
Even still, though, it only took maybe 20 to 25 minutes or so for the temperatures to start to drop noticeably. It took maybe 45 minutes for the entire room to feel a whole lot cooler, cool enough to spend the rest of the day there for sure.
While it’s going to take a little bit longer to cool a big room down than traditional air conditioning might have taken (which is to be expected with this evaporate if air cooling system, anyway), you’re still going to be able to cool down pretty much any sized room – within reason – inside of 30 to 40 minutes.
It often takes even less time than that to cool down smaller rooms (like bedrooms), but the “set it and forget it” kind of nature of the Arctic Air Pure Chill cooling system gives you the opportunity to set this up, walk away, and refill the tanks every eight hours to keep it running smoothly.
I can tell you that I’ve seen other Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews out there that mention people even using the evaporative cooler technology of this system outdoors in the middle of some pretty hot temperatures to keep them cool, too.
I personally haven’t given that a shot yet (we have a swimming pool and some decent breezes that come across the backyard, as well as lots of shade) but there have been more than a handful of Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews that speak to these kinds of outdoor capabilities.
Some people are even leaving Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews behind to let people know that they’ve used it in their cars with AC systems that aren’t working the way they should.
Now that’s a pretty slick piece of tech, if you ask me!
Who is the Arctic Air Pure Chill Good For?
Plenty of folks can take full advantage of the cool and clean air that this amazing little piece of hardware brings to the table, including (but definitely not limited to):
- People that just can’t stand air conditioning units running in the background when they are trying to sleep at night but hate hot, humid bedrooms just as much
- Folks that want to beat the summertime heat without spending half their paycheck on energy bills just to keep air conditioning systems up and running 24/7
- Homeowners that want an individual air cooler system that they can bring around with them from room to room, cooling things down in a hurry, so that they don’t have to cool their entire home
… And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
At the end of the day, I really have recommended and shared my own personal Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews with all kinds of people – people living in large and small homes, people living in apartments and condos, people out at their lake house, people living in campers and RVs.
This is a game changing piece of technology and one of the sweetest air cooler systems I’ve ever used.
It flat out beats AC (my humble opinion) and works anywhere and everywhere traditional AC technology would, too.
Arctic Air Pure Chill FAQ
How Much is an Arctic Air Pure Chill?
One of the greatest things about this air cooler is that it isn’t going to set you back a pile of cash, either.
Super affordable (even more affordable than window based AC units), you’ll be able to score this hardware for next to nothing – and becomes even more affordable when you factor in the discount on energy bills you’ll get not having to run AC units all summer long.
Truth be told, it’s not all that unusual to score this amazing little system at anywhere between $45 and $90 or so.
On top of that, this air cooler can be picked up from the manufacturer right now – this minute – at a 50% off discount.
At that price point it’s not a bad idea to pick up two (or more, maybe even one for every room in your house)!
Where Can I Buy an Arctic Air Pure Chill?
The only wrinkle when it comes to this cooling system is that you aren’t going to be able to find it in local department stores or anywhere other than the official website.
At the same time, that does help to keep costs low. The company cuts out the middleman completely which allows them to drop their prices without carving into their profits.
If you ask me that’s a trade-off I’ll make 10 out of 10 times.
Jump on the official Arctic Air Pure Chill website to score this sweet little piece of technology (and make sure you move quick to Grab that 50% off discount I mentioned a second ago).
How Quickly Does the Arctic Air Pure Chill Cool Things Down?
This slick little piece of cool air hardware goes to work immediately after being powered on to lower temperatures in your space.
I’ve timed how long it takes to cool my room down (that bedroom I mentioned earlier), and it took about 30 minutes or so to see a temperature drop off about 15°F / 10° C .
A little longer and we were seeing even lower temperatures, and as I mentioned I’ve never had a tough time sleeping in the summer with this thing running overnight.
The ability to move this compact unit around so that it cools any space you want down in a hurry is a huge advantage. But because it’s so affordable I sprung for a couple of different units, popped them into different rooms in my home, and I run them pretty much around-the-clock – refilling the water system every 8 to 10 hours (give or take).
Is the Arctic Air Pure Chill Expensive to Run?
You’ll be amazed at how much more affordable your energy bills are during the summer months when most people are cranking AC units 24/7, watching the meter absolutely fly around like it’s been kicked into overdrive. Besides, it’s portable so you can take it with you everyhwere!
Every one of the Arctic Air Pure Chill reviews I’ve ever read mentions just how affordable this unit is (not just upfront but as far as your energy bills are concerned, too), and I can attest to that as well.
